Yes, a shelf is a good idea. Could cause the monitor to slowly tilt backwards unless it is one of those heavy monsters-from-hell that only readjusts with serious application of more than a max of 17 poundages of feline. Or else a separate stand over the monitor if you have the space, although kitty may rebel (with said wee) at the thought of reduced belly heat do to the dissipation between monitor and new perch. Something to consider…
I saw this and thought of your favorite fur ball …
The trouble is its a highly tilted surface so she keeps slowly sliding (melting) off.
I want to get a heat conductive table / shelf like structure to mount over the screen so cat can sleep on top of monitor comfortably, whilst having tummy warmed.
Way back in the dark pre-IBM PC past of single board, no box computers, a friends cat wee’d on his motherboard…
It never worked again.
Very destructive stuff is cat wee.
Anyhoo, the bottom line is you’re doomed.
The message you suppose to be getting is “Pay attention to cat, ignore computer.”]]>
